Throughout the blessed month of Ramadan, Muslims participate in a spiritualism fast which includes an abstinence from food, drinks, smoking
and continence between dawn and dusk. The fast also extends to refraining from evil actions, thoughts and words. Ramadan is the time to purify
the soul through practicing self-sacrifice and refocusing attention on God. Also, Ramadan is a month of charity and compassion.
It is important to respect this time of holy reflection, therefore, non-Muslims must also refrain from eating, drinking and smoking in public in Doha.
To adhere to government standards, AREDC office hours will change during the month of Ramadan. Our offices will have the following business hours:
